Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities.
Healthy Living for All is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who are blind or have low vision, are Deaf or hard of hearing, have limited movement, or have cognitive or learning disabilities.
How accessible this website is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We test with automated tools (axe-core, Pa11y, Lighthouse), with the keyboard only, and with screen readers (NVDA, TalkBack and VoiceOver).
Features to help you
- Accessibility menu (top of every page): bigger text, high contrast, a dyslexia-friendly font, underlined links and pausing all animation.
- Read aloud: guides have a Listen button that reads the page in English or Kiswahili using your device's voice.
- Everything works with a keyboard. Press Tab to move and Enter to choose; the first Tab shows a "Skip to main content" link.
- Text is written in plain language. Videos have captions and audio has transcripts.
- The site works on small phones and slow connections, and without JavaScript.
Known limitations
Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. Ask us and we will send the information in another format. Kiswahili translations are being reviewed.
Tell us about a problem
